I have to admit, I’m not usually a big fan of yellow, but after seeing this picture of Victoria Beckam in a yellow shift dress with nude shoes I had to reconsider. I love the effect of the neutral shoe coupled with the yellow dress. It gives it a more chic vibe and is a great daytime look that can easily go into evening. I think I’ve always associated the yellow dress with bridesmaid dresses, but this look is anything but 27 Dresses. So did you catch the fever?

I’m all about making summer pieces transition into fall. Though I don’t want the cooler weather to hit just yet, I can’t help but to wonder how I can make my summer pieces work when the temperatures start to dip.
