“Every accomplishment is a personal success; sometimes it’s our own perception of it that diminishes it.” ~me
No question about it, we live in an extremely fast paced competitive world. Blink and you’re left behind. Yet sometimes this idealogy of what success entails is nothing more than a falsehood which somehow has dictated an image of what success is and what it looks like. We become consumed with comparing ourselves with our peers, colleagues, friends, family, and even people in the media. I don’t want to take away from the accomplishments of others, but rather to shift the frame of thinking in order to learn how to appreciate your own personal successes in life.
Success is not measured soley by material wealth, but by also overcoming those personal challenges which may have seemed insurmountable in the past. Those things which may have inhibited you from taking those key steps in reaching your aspirations. It’s the ability to silence of the voice of “I can not” and hearing the voice of “I can and will”. It means to believe in those dreams of your childhood before you became jaded with life adversities and moving towards your vision.
It means to be less inactive but to become more reactive and to persevere despite outward appearances. To have faith that what you would like to see in your life will come to fruition and to take steps towards your goal.
Everyone was designed with a purpose in life. God would not have created you to just be a bystander, but to be a participant in this thing we call life. He designed you with a specific purpose in mind and it’s up to you to achieve it. It’s about overcoming

and taking that risk to make the impossible possible. Maybe your goal in life is to be a great homemaker which will provide the love and support your child may need in order to become the next great president. Maybe it’s about sacrificing small things now to accomplish greater things later on, but the point is to always accept those accomplishments as successes. To appreciate your own purpose and to fulfil your destiny. Will you rewrite your script today and put away those feelings of coveting, envy, sloth, and any other negative thought you may have and learn to embrace the beauty and strength that lies in your own success story? Sound off and share your own personal achievements and share how you were able to make your visions a reality.
